卓越した技術をベースにパーソナルなアプローチを通して作品を作るルカ・ラウリー二の放つプロジェクであるo-projectは今回で二回目を迎える。今回は芸術に於ける表現主義的アプローチにより、詩や格言、メッセージ等をモールスコードを用い、それをニッティングにプログラムし、或はレーザーカットを施し作品に仕上げた。服が放つ言語、それは無限の可能性を示すことを証明した仕事と言えよう。

来る１２月１７日よりステファン・シュナイダーの２０１１年春夏コレクションがリフト・エクリュ店にて来春に先駆けてプレヴューされます。父親が切手を収集してた事に端を発し、ステファン・シュナイダーらしい切り口でコレクションに仕上げた最新作は、規律正しいエレガンスの中にユーモアと包み込まれるような穏やかさを感じさせてくれます。服が上品さを感じさせるのは、作り手のエレガンスが服に伝達されているからでもあり、着用する側が既に、そのメッセージを感じ取り、より上品なものに仕上げる資質があるからなのでしょう。

ジャス・エムビーとのコラボレーションも１０年目を迎えようとしています。今迄、物作りにおいて色々な挑戦と、皆様にご愛用して頂ける作品を造る。この一点に的を絞り開発を重ねてまいりました。今回、このプロジェクトが一つの区切りを迎えるにあたり、今迄のコラボレーションという枠を卒業しブランドとして生まれ変わります。

” LIFTOLOGY "このネーミングはJAS氏自身のアイデアにより生まれました。テクノロジー（技術）とLiftならではのコンセプトが融合したブランドとして、この度初めて正式発表されます。

是非この記念すべき瞬間を皆様と分かち合えれば幸いです。

The collaboration with Jas M.B. will reach 10th year. “Numerous amount of challenge as for creativity and to create a product which could use it for long term”…we only concentrate this one ideology to develop the product. Now we face to the end of this project and this collaboration will reborn as the brand. The brand, ‘’LIFTOLOGY’’ is named by Jas Sehmbi himself. With technology and philosophy of Lift, it is officially announced to launch the first collection. It would be greatly appreciated if we could share this moment with all the customers.

日本の逸品企画と題されたプロジェクトがこの秋から開始されました。この企画の趣旨は日本の歴史、伝統の中から生み出されたプロダクトをLIFTのチャンネルを通じて御紹介していくというプロジェクトで、金沢の２１世紀美術館にてロン・ミュエックの個展を見に行った時に丸下駄を偶然見かけて以来、その独特のフョルムに目を奪われ、京都の老舗の下駄やさんに製作して頂きました。このプロダクトの魅力は、フォルムの美しさ。ベースを桐の木を使用し製作されたものに、革製の鼻緒をつけた仕様と、それ自体を大胆に革で包んだ仕様のものは、底にラバーが貼られ事で、よりサボ的要素を高めます。日本人にも、海外の方にも是非チャレンジして頂きたい逸品です。

ワンピース・ストーリーのよるバッグから始まり、ガーメントライン及びシューズへと開発がよりトータルな物へとなり、リフトとして日本国内の店舗さんへ御紹介させて頂いてからはや5年の月日が経ちました。リフトとm.a+の絆、そしてファンの方へ向けたよりシリアスで快適な空間を是非御体験下さい。

リニューアルオープンしたリフトエタージュ内にキャロル・クリスチャン・ポエルの特別なスペースが誕生しました。長年に渡るコラボレーション、今迄行って来た様々なインスタレーションやプレゼンテーションを経て、リフトとして又、キャロル．クリスチャン・ポエルのフォローワー及びサポーターの方々に、純粋にキャロル・クリスチャン・ポエルの世界をその歴史も含めて全身で堪能し頂ける空間を御用意させて頂きました。今後、世界に一点しか存在しない作品や、最新のコレクション、特別な作品の他、クリエーションが作られる背景等のご紹介にも更に力を入れて行きたいと思います。2010-11のシーズンは、リフトが特別に依頼して制作して頂いた品々が多数そろっています。

Following long term collaborations, various extreme installations and presentations, Lift are pleased to introduce the purity space of Carol Christian Poell includes the history of the brand to all follower and supporter. 新装リフトエタージュ内に世界でも初の試みとなるGUIDIの特別コーナーが併設されました。長年のコラボレーションに於ける一つの答えが、こういった形で実現致しました。このオープンを記念して、限定生産による特別な靴も同時発売されています。

Following renovation, Lift étage has established a special corner of GUIDI, which is the first attempt in the world. This is one of the achievements based on after many years of collaborations. For this occasion we would like to announce special limited edition shoes which is now on the store.

Lift étage内にLabel Under Constructionの作品を展示発表する特別なスペ−スが誕生致しました。これはリフトがデザイナーであるLuca Laurini氏及びその仕事を支えてきたチームとのシンパシーの一環として誕生し、作品の背景にある大事なメッセージをこの空間を通じて伝達して行く事を目的としています。スチール製のサークルは、ニットが柔らかいという特性に対しての対比から来た発想で、月の光の当たる面積に対しての光の解放が与えられています。

The utmost approach space for Label Under Construction is now established in Lift étage. Three-dimension space is created as a part of the sympathy with Label Under Construction and Lift. The idea behind is to communicate the hidden story of artwork through the space. The circle made of steel is a conception that came from the comparison to their opposite attributes with a “soft” knitwear and “hard” steel and liberating light from to the area that the moonlight hits.

リフト・エタージュのリニューアルオープニングの同日、エタージュに併設する形値でリフト・ギャラリーがオープン致しました。一回目の個展として”ハンドポートレイト、手はクリエーターのアイコン展”が開催され、多数の方に作品をご覧頂きました。この個展の趣旨は、クリエーターの最大で最小のアイコンが、その手である事に着目した事に端を発しました。ものが生まれる背景、そしてそれを生み出すアイコンを世界で初めて個展という形で発表します。参加者はキャロル・クリスチャン・ポエルやリック・オウエンス、ドリス・バン・ノッテン、アン・ドゥムルメステールの他、総勢３０名程の世界を代表する方々に参加頂きました。

LIFT GALLERY has established on the day as the opening refurbished store, Lift étage. The first installation titled as “HAND PORTRAIT – Hand is the creators icon –“ is showed on the public. The main aim of the installation is to insist maximum, but minimum source of icon is originally created from by their hand. We would like to announce the first exhibition seeking background and the icon of creation. Over 30 creators include Carol Christian Poell, Rick Owens, Dries Van Noten, Ann Demeulemeester are participating into the installation.

HAND PORTRAIT EXHIBITION AUGUST,20 - ８月２０日-

" 手はクリエーターのアイコン "

人はそれぞれ固有のアイコンを所有しています。それは顔であったり、指紋であったりと...この度このインスタレーションを開催するにあたり、私達は　”手 ”に着眼しました。それはクリエーターが物造りをして行く上で、とても重要な役割を果たしているからです。例えばその手により作画が作られ、リサーチのレポートが書かれ、作品が完成していく。そして、その全てのプロセスが手によって行われ手のしわに歴史として刻印されていくわけです。言わばクリエーターの最大のアイデンティティーの象徴になるわけです。昨今、手の感触は失われつつあります。ものが生み出される過程をイメージさせる象徴が見当たりません。そこで私達はその最大で最低限の、そして固有のこのアイコンをインスタレーションという型で展示する事に致しました。

この個展で展示されるイメージは、今回の個展の為だけに用意された素材であり、総勢３０名を超える世界を代表するクリエーターの方達が、個々のアイデンティティーの象徴を 写真に込め御提供頂きました。是非この世界で初めての個展をご覧頂ければ幸いです。

Individuals have their own icons. It can be a face, fingerprint... In opening this Installation, we have put focus on “hands” as they form very important part of designs of the creators. We create sketches, write research reports, and make art works through this privilege we are born with. Each hand is different from one another, making it our biggest symbol of identity. Unfortunately, the image of hands, in other words, "the icon of creation", is slowly fading away from people's minds. To remind this maximum, but minimum source of creation we would like to present art exhibition created via the icon of individual people.

Over 30 members of world renowned creators have presented their individual symbols of identity and the materials of these images exhibited here were prepared just for this exhibition. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all creators who have participated in this exhibition.

Lift étage will be renewed on the coming August 20th 2010 with removing the wall which always existed and shared between next door since after the store is opened six years ago. This renewal project will not proceed without the understanding of the property owner. By using the wall as a ‘campus’ we would like to share a memory with all of the LIFT participators until the wall is break it down. it would be greatly appreciated of writing the thing, favorite word, picture, and the image of anything, which you come up in your mind. The Wakening of innocent and Duty

The "Organic Project" focuses its main theme on developing a product that has a real meaning to it, as well as creating a product that arises from a very personal point of view. The 2nd of this project introduces a very special body bag designed by Mr. Okaniwa, The Viridi-Anne designer.Either when you are riding a bicycle or even a motorcycle, this special bag allows you to become totally hands free, making you feel like you are not carrying anything at all. It can be used in 2 ways; as a backpack or as a shoulder bag.Just like an embryo wrapped around in their mothers' womb, one can only experience the overwhelmed protection this "special twins" creates only when it is around their body.

Not only that this bag serves its role as what is it, the forme it creates can be simply described as "beautiful". It describes more than “The Wakening of innocent and Duty”.

” 清浄と義務の目覚め "

本当に意味が有るプロダクトそしてパーソナルな視点から生み出される物の開発をテーマに行われている" オーガニック・プロジェクト "の第二弾としてThe Viridi - Anneのデザイナーである岡庭氏に制作して頂いた特別なボディーバッグ。パックサックとして使用出来るのと同時にショルダーバッグとしても使用可能なこの２way bagは、体のフォルムに対し奇麗に収まるフォルムと自転車やバイク等に乗った時も、完全にハンドフリーとして使用可能な仕様になっている。いわば機能と美が融合した結果、生み出された作品である。そのフォルムは膣の中にいる胎児を彷彿させ、その双子の存在は、それを身にまとう者だけが体感しうる保護感に溢れ、使用者が望む要求に素直に答えてしてくれる。鞄としての義務をはたす事、そしてそのフォルム自体が美しい事。それはもはや” 清浄と義務の目覚め "以外の言葉で言い表す事は不可能といえよう。

It will be our 17th occasion to have this special collaboration with JAS MB.It will be at the Lift ecru from April 2nd to 6th.We have new stories all over the space with original designs and usefulness combined,which created the outcome this time.Please come by take a look.

How we meet " GUSTAVO LINS "

GUSTAVON LINSとの出会い

私達がGUSTAVO LINSの作品に遭遇したのはパリコレ期間中の事だった。マレのピカソミュージアムの近くに位置するそのギャラリーにGUSTAVOの作品は展示してあった。アートなのかそれとも展示会なのか、詳細の無い展示はウインドー越しにその存在感を十分に発揮し、少なくとも私達の足を食い止めるのに十分な制動能力を発揮した。アポイント先へと向かう間のほんの数秒のそのアクシデントは、その後６年間以上に渡ったてのコラボレーションへと繋がる事となった。まず最初のインパクトは、造形的主張、それが発するメッセージは力強く、が、しかし無骨さではなくあくまでも、その卓越された技術からなし得る仕事、そしてステッチワーク。その後初めてデザイナーにあった際に彼の存在と彼の仕事が完全に線で結びついた。それは彼のオートクチュールをベースとしてして来た歴史とその技術がシンクロし、創作物になった瞬間であり、オートクチュールの持ちうる感性と技術が現代に解き放なたれた瞬間でもあった。話をすればするほど彼の物造りは彼自身の経験を反映させていることに気がつかされる。と言うのも彼が造る作品はどこか建築物をイメージさせる、というのも衣という表現方法の中で実に巧みに、そのスペース（インターナル、アウトターナル）を使い分け、その両方に新たな可能性を見いだす。リバーシブルの原理は両方が主張を持った空間的構築に他ならず、どちらかがA面でどちらかがB面ではなく、いわばどちらもA面なのである。その居住空間的発想はあとで解った事ではあるが、彼がオートクチュールを始める前に、建築家であった事を反映させている。そして彼の仕事にもっとも強いインパクトを与えたのが、他でもない着物である。その美しさ、着用した時のフォルムは欧米には存在しない物で、洋服がコンストラクチュアルな構成であるという原理（理解）に対して、コンストラクチュアルは人間の体であり、そこに衣を宛てがった時に出来るフォルムこそヒューマニティーを誇張し、そこに美が生まれる。GUSUTAVOはその発見から、現在に至まで、そこが出発点であり又、彼のゴールもそこにあるのであろう。そこにコンストラクチュアルな仕事を入れる事で、彼の作品は完成を得る。私達は彼ほど着物を理解し、長年に渡って研究しているデザイナーを他に知らない。又、そこに完全なる仕事を成立させる事のできるデザイナーを彼以外に想像する事も不可能である。

Meeting GUSTAVO LINS

The first time we encountered Gustavo Lins'work was during the Paris Fashion Week.A gallery near the Picasso Museum was the presented work of Gustavo Lins.Was it art or just expositi-　on?　It had no caption of the work,which made it unique from the other side of the window, interesting enough to make our moving feet stop.The " accident" that happened on our way to the appointment back then,left us a remark for 6 years until we then started to collaborate with one and another. The primary impact was the appeal that each models had.The message it was projecting was solid,with only the highest technique and stitch work making it possible. The point of his work was fully discovered when we met the designer himself. It was the moment where his base of haute couture became an original,creative items.It was also the moment where the concept of haute coture was related into the modern world. The more we talk to him, the more we understand that his craftmanship is based on his own personal experiense.His work reminds us of architecture,and he uses both internal and external spaces of object to maximise the possibility with the item. The ideas of reversible items are supporsed to be that both siders of the item appeals for its different causes. In another words they both are the "A" side. The atmosphere of the living space was created out of his mind and it was self explained from the fact that he was an architect before starting haute couture. However it was the Kimono that defined the uniqueness in his work. The beauty and the form of the garment when it is worn is not applicable to weatern clothing, and makes us realise that the materials cover up the human body,which is the true construction when it comes to humanity.Because Gustavo had that finding, that was his departing point and the goal at the same time. By having construtional work in it,his work is complete.We don't know other designers who understand the concept of the Kimono other then Gustavo. Also we don't think we can imagine another designer other then him,who can do this job with perfection.

来る４月１７日よりリフト・エクリュ、エタージュ、アトリエ全てのスペースを使用したGUSTAVO LINSの個展が開催される運びとなました。各スペースにて展示される作品は、ポーセリンストーリーを始め、マヌカンストーリー、２Dストーリー、Kimonoストーリーその他この個展の為だけに制作される新ストーリーと更に、新作のお披露目も含んだ内容となっております。デザイナー自身が来日して作り込む世界観は他に類を見ず、彼独自の世界観が究極レベルに表現される内容となります。是非この機会にご来場頂き、ご自身で御体感頂ければ幸いです。

On April 17th, a one-man show of Gustavo Lins will be held using space of Lift ecru,etage and the Atelier.Starting from porcelain story,mannequin story,2D story,Kimono story and other stories will be present at each space,accompanied by stories that are exclusively made for the gallery,as well as new line-up of items.His work will expose the full view of his world,in his perspecitive as he works from scratch in Japan.It will be nothing but unique and special,and would be in top quality.It would be wonderful if you take this opportunity and feel the world with your senses.

来る2010年４月１日よりO-PROJECTのセカンドセッションとして" SIGNAL "がリフト・アトリエにて開催されます。より深いコンセプトと湛然なもの造りは、その空間に招かれた者のみが体感出来うる特権。コマーシャリズムとの真逆に位置し、よりパーソナルなアプローチは表面だけを繕って行く昨今のファッションに一石を投じる。質とは何か？本質的な所を問うこのプロジェクトはまさに" SIGNAL " 以外の何者でもない。興味のある方はLift etageにて情報を入手できます。

DAMIR DOMA 2010-11 WOMEN'S COLLECTION IN PARIS

2010年３月３日ダミールドーマの初のショーがパリにて発表された。会場は左岸にある由緒正しきスクールで、ファッションデザイナーのショーがここで開催されるのは初めての事。全てのスタッフが緊張の中ショーが開始された。ランウェイのステージはちょうど良いパースペクティブでアンソンのサミュエル・ドリラのスタイリングが映える。厳格な空間に解き放たれたモデル達は霧の中から現代へと足早に駆け抜けて行く。緊張が解き放たれた頃、人々の拍手喝采の中ショーの幕が閉じた。ダミール・ドーマ自身が解き放たれた瞬間でもあった。

”誕生 無意識が有意識になる時” と題されたインスタレーションがリフトエタージュ、エクリュにて開催されています。そのテーマとは：何かが生まれる時、誰かが、もしくは何かが生命力を受諾しそこに自意識が芽生える。そしてその場所を確認すべく明かりの中へと無意識に向かっていく。

Installation entitled Bone The moment when “Subconscious” becomes “Conscious” now take place at Lift etage and ecru from the 5th of February,2010 and the theme is : When something is born, someone or something receives the vitality of their life, and creates self-consciousness. To confirm that exact location, they all move towards the light, subconsciously.
